The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Oyster Shell, Jet, Lapis, and Charoite. The Oyster Shell is hand carved to look like individual pieces of corn, then it is carefully placed into a corn shaped silver setting. In the Oyster Shell, other stones can be seen resembling different colors of corn. Silver beads can be seen accenting the earrings for a perfect finish. The corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes.
