DESCRIPTION:
This is a very gorgeous pair of earrings that would make a great gift! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Tina Gasper, out of genuine sterling silver, Oyster Shell, and Mother of Pearl. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines highlight in between for a beautiful look.
Sterling Silver is a metal, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. Although any metal can make up the 7.5% of non-silver component, years of study have shown that copper is most compatible, while aiding the solidity and durability of the metal without harming its beautiful color. The small amount of 7.5% copper added to all silver has almost no effect on the metals overall value. Due to the durability of sterling silver it is not only used for jewelry, but household accessories as well. Silver is known to last a lifetime with the proper care.
