DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This Native American jewelry set is Zuni hand crafted and strung by artist Abel Soseeah, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Coral, Mother of Pearl, and Jet. The inlay is gently set, while creating phenomenal Sun designs. The necklace is composed of one center piece and double strands of 7-mm silver eccentric beads that are placed at regular intervals among the round side of the center. The center piece is set with ONE inlaid Sun while each side of the necklace has FIVE inlaid Suns. Entire traditional necklace is flexible "not stiff". The earrings have a total of TWO Suns (ONE in each earring) and perfectly match the necklace for a marvelous finish to this set. The necklace and earrings are signed by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

Posted by Kerstin B. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I was looking for a multicolor ring fitting to the native american jewelry I already have and I found exactly what I was looking for for a very good price. Purchase on the side was easy and fast. International shipping took about 1,5 weeks - that's ok. The ring is very beautiful and in very good quality. Thank you so much.

    Very Satisfied Customer
Posted by John M. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I ordered an Opal Necklace with matching Earrings, also a Turquoise and Malachite Necklace. I was so pleased with my first order with Native American Jewelry, I ordered within the week, an Onyx and Tiger Eye necklace with matching earrings. My wife was extremely pleased with the gifts and has worn them since with many complements about them. Shipping was fast and well packaged. I will definitely be ordering in the future from Native American Jewelry. If you are considering purchasing Southwest American Jewelry, I would highly recommend Native American Jewelry!

    Effie C. WOW
Posted by Pat C. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I love it! The Effie Calavaza pendant that I purchased is so similar to the belt buckle that my husband gave me when we moved from N.J. to Wyo in the mid 1970's, also by Effie C. It brings back wonderful memories. Love her work, hope to get more.
