This gorgeous necklace and pendant set is absolutely distinctive in each and every way! In this Native American jewelry set, the pendant is Navajo overlay hand crafted by artist Alonzo Mariano, out of authentic sterling silver and real Turquoise. The necklace consists of: 8-mm silver round beads, along with 8-mm Turquoise round beads. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this pendant, the second layer forms a wonderful Bear, Bear Paw, and Arrow design. Stamped border patterns can be seen complimenting pendant for a polished finish. In Native American beliefs, the bear symbolizes physical strength, leadership, and is known as the "first helper". In Native American beliefs, the bear paw is usually considered a way to call for the power of the animal spirit, or as an indication of the presence of the spirit. It is a symbol that represents inner strength. Arrows usually signify direction of travel, force, and movement. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.
