DESCRIPTION:

You will absolutely fall in love with this gorgeous pendant! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Andrew Vandever, out of authentic sterling silver and a man made Blue Opal stone. The stone is delicately placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while being highlighted by hand cut designs and boarders for a wonderful look. The pendant is hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
