DESCRIPTION:
An offer like this will not last long! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Alonzo Mariano, out of genuine sterling silver. The bracelet has a total of FIVE links that are accented. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second layer is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this bracelet, the second layer forms, Kokopelli, Arrow, Bear Paw, and other Native American patterns. Imprinted designs can be seen accenting and completing the bracelet perfectly. The Kokopelli is a common fertility symbol throughout the Southwest. In Native American beliefs, the Kokopelli visits various communities, seducing and impregnating the young women drawn to the tones of his flute playing. Arrows usually signify direction of travel, force, and movement. The bracelet is stamped sterling, and hallmarked by the artist.
