Ring is size 8-1/2, it measures approximately 1/2" long and 1" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

This magnificent and traditional ring represents the finest of Zuni craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Deirdre Luna Panteah out of genuine sterling silver and Opal inlay. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines can be seen accenting in between, and twisted silver around the ring for a wonderful finish. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
