Ring is size 5-3/4, it measures approximately 1/4" long and 3/4" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a very gorgeous ring that would make a great gift! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist C. Lamy, out of genuine sterling silver and manmade Opal stones. A total of FIVE needlepoint stones are carefully placed in hand cut bezel settings, while mini silver beads can be seen accenting the ring for a perfect finish. Ring is signed by the artist.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Sanskrit word "Upala" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
