Sterling silver, real Turquoise, and Coral.

MEASUREMENTS:

Inside circumference measures approximately 22-1/4" long. Necklace weighs 59 grams.

DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Southwestern art! This necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise, and Coral beads. The necklace is made up of THREE strands that consist of: 2-mm silver round beads, Turquoise free formed beads that have an average measurement of 7-mm, and Coral branch beads that have an average measurement of 14-mm. The THREE strands in this necklace elegantly graduate so that the necklace will lay perfectly around your neck. Each end of the necklace is accented with a silver cone and beads for a wonderful finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
