DESCRIPTION:

This lovely pair of earrings will definitely attract plenty of attention! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist S.C. Edaakie, out of genuine Sterling silver and real Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Coral, Jet, Lapis, Abalone Shell, and Yellow Mother Of Pearl. The inlay is carefully set while creating a lovely Parrot bird design for a delightful finish. Parrots are connected with both the sun and the coming of the rains. Parrots were considered carriers of these specific prayers and would confer blessings. Kept for their feathers and color by many Pueblo people (secured through trade with people to the far South), they were considered a very expensive possession thereby denoting prosperity.The earrings are hallmarked by the artist.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

Lapis is the perfect stone for wisdom and fortitude. It is also believed to be an excellent stone for decision makers. It helps increase psychic ability.
