MEASUREMENTS:

Pendant measures approximately 1-1/4" long (including bail) and 3/8" at widest point. Snake chain measures approximately 18-1/8" long and 1-mm wide.

DESCRIPTION:

This lovely necklace is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! In this piece of Native American jewelry, the pendant is Navajo hand crafted by artist Felix Perry, and made out of genuine sterling silver, along with a man made Opal stone. The stone is gently set in a hand cut shadow box bezel setting, while beautiful stamped silver designs, and hand cut silver work can be seen accenting for a lovely look. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked. The pendant is accompanied by an Italian snake chain, made out of genuine sterling silver. Each link is perfectly connected together to create this excellent snake chain! The necklace may be worn alone or with other pendants, and pendant may be worn with other necklaces. The necklace is stamped Italy, SL, and .925 (sterling silver).

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
