This is a very exquisite ring that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted, out of genuine sterling silver and a man made Opal stone. The stone is delicately set in hand cut bezel setting, while hand crafted silver work forms a stunning turtle design completing the ring for a stylish look. In Native American beliefs, the turtle represents strength, female power, and fertility. The turtle is also considered to be able to defy death.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Sanskrit word "Upala" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
