MATERIALS:

Sterling Silver and real Turquoise.

MEASUREMENTS: 

Pendant measures approximately 2-1/4" long (including bail) and 1-3/8" at widest point. Necklace measures approximately 19-1/2" long. The necklace weighs 67.2 grams.

DESCRIPTION: 

This is a very exquisite necklace set that must not be overlooked! In this Native American jewelry set, the pendant is Navajo hand crafted by artist R. Calladitto, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Turquoise stone. The stone is gently set in a hand cut bezel setting, while being accented by twisted silver and stamped patterns for a dazzling look. The pendant stamped sterling and is hallmarked. The necklace is hand strung out of genuine 3-mm sterling silver round beads and real 10-mm Turquoise flat beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a stunning finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
