Ring is size 10-1/2, it measures approximately 1-7/8" long and 1" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand made by artist Ella Spencer, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor stones. The stones consists of real Turquoise, Oyster Shell, Tiger Eye, Howlite, Mother of Pearl, Pink Shell, Unakite, Jasper, and Onyx. The stones are delicately set in hand cut bezel settings, while twisted silver and mini silver beads accent for a perfect finish. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Tiger Eye stone contains a golden yellow reflection on a brown ground color. The most important source of tiger eye is South Africa, but it is also found in Australia, India, and California. It is believed to give courage, clear thinking, and protects from negativity.
