Hook dangle earrings measure approximately 1-1/2" long (including hook) and 1/2" at widest point.

DESCRIPTION:

This lovely pair of earrings is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Rita Largo, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Pink Opal. The stone is gently set in a hand cut bezel setting, while being surrounded by hand cut silver work and mini silver beads for a remarkable finish. The earrings are stamped sterling.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Sanskrit word "Upala" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
