Pendant measures approximately 2" long (including bail) and 1-1/4" at widest point.

DESCRIPTION: 

This is a wonderful piece of Navajo artistry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo, hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver, manmade Opal & Amethyst stones. The pendant is made out of NINE stones that is gently set in a hand cut bezel settings, while being accented by twisted silver, 3-mm silver beads, and hand crafted silver work for a fabulous finish.  The pendant is stamped sterling and is hallmarked. 

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Sanskrit word "Upala" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
