MEASUREMENTS:

The inner necklace circumference measures approximately 25-1/4" long and weighs 60 grams. 

DESCRIPTION:

Expect plenty of complements while wearing this beautiful necklace! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and High Great Kingman Turquoise beads. The necklace is made up of THREE strands that consist of: 2-mm silver round beads, and free form High Great Kingman Turquoise beads that measure an average of 6-mm. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone for a perfect finish. The cones are stamped sterling. 

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
