Necklace measures approximately 16-1/2" long, centerpiece measures approximately 1-1/2" long and 3/4" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

We bring to you this adorable necklace! This piece of Southwestern jewelry is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, real Denim Lapis beads, and real Turquoise. The necklace consists of: 3-mm and 5-mm silver round beads, 6-mm real Turquoise freeform beads, 6-mm Denim Lapis freeform beads, and a 19-mm Denim Lapis bear centerpiece. Each end of the necklace is finished off with a silver cone and bead for a magnificent look. In some beliefs, the bear symbolizes physical strength, leadership, and is known as the "first helper". The cones are stamped sterling.

Lapis is the perfect stone for wisdom and fortitude. It is also believed to be an excellent stone for decision makers. It helps increase psychic ability.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
