Sterling silver and real Turquoise.

MEASUREMENTS:

The inner bracelet circumference measures approximately 5-1/2", plus a 1-1/4" opening, and 1-5/8" at widest point. 

DESCRIPTION:

There is nothing at all average about this beautiful bracelet! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo, handcrafted by artist Tim Yazzie out of genuine sterling silver, and real Turquoise stone. A total of ONE Turquoise stone is carefully placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while being accented by hand twisted silver work. Along with that, there are imprinted Native designs including cow skulls, and a leaf. A total of FIVE silver, (TWO twisted silver and THREE plain silver), bars make up the cuff, and complete the bracelet to perfection. The bracelet is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
