Key chain measures approximately 2-1/8" long (including ring) and 1" at widest point. 
Each keychain is handmade, so slight variations from the pictured design may occur.

DESCRIPTION:

Expect plenty of compliments while wearing this stunning key chain! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Virginia Long, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Turquoise stone. The stone is placed in a hand cut shadow box bezel setting, while in the midst of a charming hand cut bear paw design. Imprinted patterns can be seen highlighting for a dazzling finish. In Native American beliefs, the bear paw is usually considered a way to call for the power of the animal spirit, or as an indication of the presence of the spirit. It is a symbol that represents inner strength. For extra strength and durability certain parts of the key ring are made out of nickel. 

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
