DESCRIPTION:
There is nothing at all average about this beautiful necklace! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver along with real Turquoise, Oyster Shell, and Onyx beads. The necklace is made up of THREE strands that consist of: 2-mm silver round beads, 5-mm Turquoise wheel beads, 4-mm Oyster Shell rondelle beads, and Oynx round beads that beautifully graduate, allowing the largest beads in the center to measure 8-mm and smallest beads at the end to measure 4-mm. The three strands in this necklace elegantly graduate, so that the necklace will lay perfectly around your neck. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone for a stunning finish. The cones are stamped sterling.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
Onyx is known to be a calming stone. It collects negative energy from you.
