DESCRIPTION:

This is a very gorgeous bracelet that would make a great gift! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Martha Livingston, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Pink Shell, Mother of Pearl, Jet, and Oyster Shell. The inlay is gently set, while thin silver lines add style for a perfect finish. The bracelet is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

Pink Mussel Shell is a freshwater material that originates in the Mississippi Basin area of the USA. The soft pink, iridescent color of this shell gives it a warm, pleasant appeal.

    Snowcloud.
Posted by David H. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
Finally I found your site and you had some jewelry with the "snowcloud" emblem on it! Thank you - we recently moved into a home that has the "snowcloud" emblem everywhere - from the front door to the fireplace and on to all cabinet doors in the kitchen and dining room. We love living here in Prescott and are constantly looking for items that have this emblem to add to our home. The earrings are stunning - I'll present them to my wife on our anniversary this year (48 years!).
