Pot measures approximately 2-1/8" tall, 1-1/4" wide and is 3-3/8" long (front to back).
This beautiful style of Navajo art is called horse hair pottery because actual horse hair is added to the pottery at just the right moment in the firing process to melt the hairs into the pottery, creating unique and incredible designs. This adorable Native American pot was hand etched with phenomenal traditional patterns and cut out designs, by Navajo artist Vail, creating a bear for a gorgeous finish.
In Native American beliefs, the bear symbolizes physical strength, leadership, and is known as the "first helper".
