DESCRIPTION:

This lovely ring will definitely attract plenty of attention! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Betty Begaye, out of authentic sterling silver and a real Howlite stone. The stone is delicately set in hand cut bezel, while twisted silver and imprinted designs can be seen highlighting for a wonderful finish. The ring is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked by the artist.

Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth. It would make a wonderful gift for a pregnant or nursing mother.

I saw a very similar bracelet in a shop in Santa Fe, NM but it was much too pricey for me. I thought I would never have such a beautiful piece of Navajo history and culture. I came home from my vacation, found this website and ordered this lovely bracelet

I looked over the selection many times before deciding on my selection. i was concerned about the ring looking as it did in the photo and the size being true. i was pleasantly surprised on both accounts, the ring looked much better in real life.
