DESCRIPTION:

This necklace is a true treasure! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Lorenzo Arviso Jr., out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise and Coral beads. The necklace has a total of TEN beads (TWO in each link) that are placed in the silver web designs, while a silver feather dangles from the center piece for a beautiful finish. It is believed that each carefully woven web will catch your bad dreams in the night. The bad spirit dreams will get caught in the web and disappear with the morning sun. However, the good spirit dreams will find their way to the center spirit hole and will float down the sacred feather. Feathers are symbols of prayers, marks of honor or sources of ideas. They represent the Creative Force.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

    Made 4 Me
Posted by Eric E. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
My Turquoise and Coral Navajo bead necklace is a personality piece. The beads are excellent and the customer support the same, excellent. I had questions all of which were answered and I also had a slight change in the clasp request which wasn't a problem to suit my needs. The necklace was shipped next day and I will not hesitate to order again from Native American Jewelry if I come across something else that catches my eye. I'm glad they are not near by as I might spend more if I could see it all in person. LOL Thank you to the sales team and designers for a real nice piece that sparks conversation.
