DESCRIPTION:
Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry by artist Genevieve Jones is Navajo overlay hand crafted, out of genuine sterling silver and 12KGF. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver or gold. One layer forms the foundation, while the second layer is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this bracelet, the second layer depicts ONE Eagle designs and TWO Feather designs. In Native American beliefs, the eagle is the master of the sky; he is considered to be a carrier of prayers. Many of the Indian Nations admire the eagle for bravery and special connections to the creator. The bracelet is hallmarked and stamped sterling.
12KGF is as good as gold. The color will never fade, change, or wear off. It is 12K gold on top of brass and other metals, which create a gold tone with a finish all the way through. 12KGF behaves the same way as gold.
