DESCRIPTION:

You will absolutely fall in love with this stunning ring! This piece of Native American jewlery is Navajo hand crafted by artist Joann Douglas, out of genuine sterling silver and multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Oyster Shell, Jet, and Opal. The inlay is carefully placed, while imprinted designs can be seen highlighting the ring for an incredible look. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
