DESCRIPTION:

This is a very exquisite pair of hook dangle earrings that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Janice Spencer, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal stones. The earrings have a total of TWO stones (ONE in each earring) that are carefully placed in hand cut shadow bezel settings.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
