DESCRIPTION:
This is a wonderful piece of Navajo artistry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Thomas Yazzie, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal stones. A total of FIVE stones are gently placed in hand cut bezel settings, while mini silver beads and twisted silver can be seen accenting in between for a gorgeous finish. The ring is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
