DESCRIPTION:

This pair of earrings is a Navajo classic! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver, along with Malachite beads. The earrings consist of: 3-mm silver round beads and 9-mm Malachite round beads.

Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
