The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and Malachite beads. The necklace consists of: 2-mm and 7-mm silver round beads and 8-mm Malachite round beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a beautiful finish. The cones are stamped sterling.
Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans.
