DESCRIPTION:

There is nothing at all average about this beautiful ring! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Tina Gasper, out of authentic sterling silver and man made Green Opal. The inlay is gently set in a beautiful heart design, while thin silver lines can be seen highlighting the ring for a gorgeous look.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
