DESCRIPTION:

This necklace is a Navajo classic! This Native American jewelry set is Navajo hand crafted and strung by artist M+A Tsatie, out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise stones. The necklace has a total of FIFTY THREE stones; the center link has TWENTY ONE stones, while the side links each have EIGHT stones. Each stone is delicately set in silver bezel settings, while mini silver beads and hand cut silver work can be seen accenting the necklace for a gorgeous finish. The earrings have a total of FOURTEEN stones (SEVEN in each earring) and perfectly match the necklace for an excellent finish to this set. The necklace and earrings are stamped Zuni and hallmarked. This entire set has a total of SIXTY SEVEN stones.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

I bought a bracelet for my new daughter-in-law's birthday. It is beautiful and in hope she loves it I sent it to her today. Fingers crossed. But while looking through I found a bracelet for myself. Right now I will need to wait to buy it but can't wait.

Native American Jewelry is fantastic! I ordered a little Crow Mother and it arrived damaged. I called to notify this great company and they told me they would send me another, at no additional cost. Well, my little Crow Mother arrived today and she is beautiful. She sits in a place of honor, nest to her wounded sister.
