This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Emery Spencer, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal stones. The earrings have a total of TWO stones (ONE in each earring) that are delicately placed in hand cut bezel settings, while being accented by beautiful sterling silver leaves, mini silver beads, and hand crafted silver work. A lovely pair of silver feathers dangle at the end of each earring for an amazing finish. Feathers are symbols of prayers, marks of honor or sources of ideas. They represent the Creative Force.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone.
