DESCRIPTION:

There is nothing at all average about this beautiful ring! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted, by artist Swain Charlie, out of authentic sterling silver and man made Blue Opal. The stone is carefully laid in a hand cut bezel, while mini silver beads can be seen highlighting the ring for a gorgeous look.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
