DESCRIPTION:
This gorgeous pendant is absolutely distinctive in each and every way! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Darrell Morgan, out of genuine sterling silver and a Coral stone. The stone is carefully set in a hand cut bezel, while hand cut silver work creates a gorgeous buffalo and arrow design. Mini silver beads and a feather dangle piece accent the pendant for a dazzling finish. The Buffalo is one of the most important animals to the people of the Plains and it is a great symbol to most Native Americans. The Plains Indians had developed life around the buffalo using it in many different ways. It was used for food, tools, shelter, warmth, and weaponry. To some, the Buffalo represents strength, stability, and prosperity. Feathers are symbols of prayers, marks of honor or sources of ideas. They represent the Creative Force. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
