DESCRIPTION:

This belt buckle is a true treasure! This piece of Native American jewelry is Hopi overlay hand crafted by artist George Phillips out of genuine sterling silver. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this belt buckle, the second layer forms a magnificent Kokopelli, Cloud, Rain, Prayer Sticks, and Corn Stalk designs that gives the piece a beautiful look. The Kokopelli is a common fertility symbol throughout the Southwest. In Native American beliefs, the Kokopelli visits various communities, seducing and impregnating the young women drawn to the tones of his flute playing. Clouds, Rain and Lightning, in addition to representing themselves, they are also important symbols of change, renewal and fertility. Closely related is snow, which is considered even more of a blessing than rain. Belt buckle is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

One week after the Wedding Communication failure 90%, except she talks of my money. Soul-mates idea, out with the baby's wash. Love at 10' away. She needs Counseling instead of a husband right now. Unsuccessful in Omaha, NE.

I came across NAJ in a web search for native american pottery. I was so impressed with your products I decided to make it one of my primary sources for gifts. My eldest daughter lives in Phoenix and is well acquainted with native american crafts. She was delighted with my most recent gift and I thought that was a firm endorsement of your artisans. Thank you.
