DESCRIPTION:

If you are looking for elegance and beauty, you have found it! This piece of Native American jewelry is Hopi overlay hand crafted by artist George Phillips out of genuine sterling silver. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second layer is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this pendant, the second layer forms a remarkable Corn Stalk and border pattern designs for an outstanding look.The corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes. It is used for prayer of fertility and a good growing season. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
