DESCRIPTION:
This is a very exquisite necklace that must not be overlooked! This piece of Southwest style jewelry is hand strung bead by bead out of genuine sterling silver and real Chrysocolla. The necklace consists of: Sterling Silver round beads ranging from 3-mm to 7-mm, along with a 37-mm Chrysocolla center piece for a perfect finish. Each end of the necklace is highlighted with a silver bead and cone for a charming finish. The cones are stamped sterling.
Chrysocolla, with associations of tranquility, peace, intuition, patience and unconditional love, is known as a healing stone among Native American cultures where it has been used to strengthen the body's resistance to illness and emotional duress.
Sterling Silver is a metal, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. Although any metal can make up the 7.5% of non-silver component, years of study have shown that copper is most compatible, while aiding the solidity and durability of the metal without harming its beautiful color. The small amount of 7.5% copper added to all silver has almost no effect on the metals overall value. Due to the durability of sterling silver it is not only used for jewelry, but household accessories as well. Silver is known to last a lifetime with the proper care.
