DESCRIPTION

This beautiful ring will definitely get you noticed! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Ernest Pewanika, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Mother Of Pearl and Coral. The inlay is carefully set in hand cut bezel, while silver lines and mini silver beads can be seen accenting the ring for a wonderful finish.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December.  It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness.  Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago.  Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico.  The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Pearls are known to stabilize and balance emotions.  They are believed to help your body in using calcium better.  Pearls are full of purity and integrity.

I saw a very similar bracelet in a shop in Santa Fe, NM but it was much too pricey for me. I thought I would never have such a beautiful piece of Navajo history and culture. I came home from my vacation, found this website and ordered this lovely bracelet

I looked over the selection many times before deciding on my selection. i was concerned about the ring looking as it did in the photo and the size being true. i was pleasantly surprised on both accounts, the ring looked much better in real life.
