Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver or gold. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual intricate overlay. In this ring the second layer forms wonderful border patterns for a striking finish. The ring is stamped sterling, 14K, and is hallmarked.
