There is nothing at all average about this beautiful pair of earrings! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni, hand crafted by artist Erma Esalalio, out of genuine sterling silver and real Gaspeite stones. The earrings have a total of EIGHTEEN stones (NINE in each earring) that are gently placed in hand cut bezel settings while mini silver beads can be seen accenting for a lovely look.
Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
