DESCRIPTION:

Take a look at this spectacular bracelet! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand made by artist Beverly Etsate, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Coral, Lapis, Malachite, and White Shell. The Turquoise is hand carved to look like individual pieces of corn, then it is gently placed into a corn shaped silver setting. In the Turquoise, other stones can be seen resembling different colors of corn. Twisted silver, silver beads and hand cut work accent adding style and creativity to the bracelet. The corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes. It is used for prayer of fertility and a good growing season. The bracelet is signed Zuni and by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Lapis is the perfect stone for wisdom and fortitude. It is also believed to be an excellent stone for decision makers. It helps increase psychic ability.

    My third purchase
Posted by Jerome G. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I bought a nice pendant this time along with a sterling bear claws money clip. This is great value for hand made jewelry. As I mentioned previously, I guarantee anyone can find something beautiful and affordable. There also was a discount so keep an eye out for those. Shipping is always free and fast.

The picture didn't do the opals justice. The ring was more beautiful in person and fit perfectly.
