DESCRIPTION:

The beautiful features in this pair of earrings will make you appreciate Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Bernedette Sanchez, out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise stones. A total of EIGHT stones (FOUR in each earring) are gently placed in hand cut bezel settings, while mini silver beads highlight for an amazing finish. The earrings are signed by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

I have restarted a collection of American Indian jewelry, and this piece does not disappoint. It fits so comfortably that I do not feel it, yet it's substantial. I love the little details, down to the hammering in the band that catches light. It was worth every penny and then some!!!

    Made 4 Me

My Turquoise and Coral Navajo bead necklace is a personality piece. The beads are excellent and the customer support the same, excellent. I had questions all of which were answered and I also had a slight change in the clasp request which wasn't a problem to suit my needs. The necklace was shipped next day and I will not hesitate to order again from Native American Jewelry if I come across something else that catches my eye. I'm glad they are not near by as I might spend more if I could see it all in person. LOL Thank you to the sales team and designers for a real nice piece that sparks conversation.
