DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo crafted by artist Raymond Begay, out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise and Coral chip inlay. The inlay is gently set, creating exquisite water wave designs. In Native American beliefs, the water waves design represents continuous life. Hand crafted silver work creates stunning images that depict the every day life style of the Native Americans, which includes Native Americans working, a hogan, landscape scenery, and other breathtaking designs. Stamped patterns accent the buckle for an outstanding finish. The stunning detail in this piece will be sure to draw plenty of attention! Belt buckle is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

    My third purchase
Posted by Jerome G. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I bought a nice pendant this time along with a sterling bear claws money clip. This is great value for hand made jewelry. As I mentioned previously, I guarantee anyone can find something beautiful and affordable. There also was a discount so keep an eye out for those. Shipping is always free and fast.

    Beautiful ring.

The picture didn't do the opals justice. The ring was more beautiful in person and fit perfectly.
