DESCRIPTION:

This is a very exquisite necklace that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist B. Benally, out of genuine sterling silver and real Pietersite stones. The necklace has a total of THREE stones; each link has ONE stone that is delicately set in a silver bezel settings while twisted silver and stamped patterns can be seen accenting the necklace for a gorgeous finish. The necklace is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Pietersite is a variety of tiger-eye and has an incredible iridescent quality. It is different than the well-known Tiger-eye since its fibers appear muddled and not closely crammed. The pietersite formation is related to volcanic hydrothermal activities. In most rough stones, petrifaction is very complete and there are no free fibers. The mineral can be used to stimulate the pituitary gland to provide the proper regulation of the other endocrine glands, and to produce in the proper quantity, the hormones concerned with growth, sex, metabolism, blood pressure, and body temperature. Its a great aid in healing the eyes. Limited production in Namibia and the embargo on export of tigers-eye rough by South Africa have caused the price of Pietersite to rise dramatically.

During the past 2/3 years I have purchased earrings and recently an earring and bracelet matching set. I have given some as presents to my nieces who have been overjoyed to receive something a bit different. Quality and service excellent.

    Beginning of an Heirloom.

When she opened the box, I thought she would begin to cry as she teared up. She gave me a multicolored ring for my October birthday and I chose one for her as close as I could find in her size for Christmas. She loved it and we will treasure them! Thanks

Ordering is easy, the customer service rep. is such a nice young lady (THanks AMY) always willing to help at any time. The only issue i had was getting the order in time though, i'm positive it was the christmas holiday that delayed my order.

    Earrings and Pendant
Posted by KA Monk | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I purchased a pair of earrings and pendant for a co-worker whose is of Navajo and Hopi descent. The items were beautiful and she was overwhelmed by the fact that they were Native American items. She said, "They are Navajo!" Great!
