DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Mark Barney, out of genuine sterling silver and man made opal. A total of THREE stones are gently placed in hand cut bezel settings, while hand crafted silver work creates charming scalloped leaf designs. Twisted silver and mini silver beads add style for a lovely look. The bracelet is stamped sterling.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
