Excellent craftsmanship is shown throughout this amazing ring! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Freda Martinez, out of authentic sterling silver and a real Howlite stone. The stone is precisely placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while twisted silver and imprinted designs add a flash for a wonderful look. The ring is stamped sterling.
Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth. It would make a wonderful gift for a pregnant or nursing mother.
