The earrings consist of: 2-mm silver round beads, 6-mm Carnelian round beads, and 8-mm Onyx round beads.
Carnelian is the birthstone of August. It increases energy, and adds endurance along with encouragement. It is also believed to still the blood and calm the temper. Carnelian is a flesh-red to brown-red, translucent to opaque type of chalcedony. Its red comes from iron within the stone.
