DESCRIPTION

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Raymond Delgarito, out of genuine Old Pawn sterling silver and real Turquoise stones. The pendant has TWO stones that are carefully placed in a hand cut bezel, while being accented by delightful twisted silver work for a gorgeous finish. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked. The necklace is hand strung out of 6-mm Old Pawn silver round beads. Each end of the necklace is highlighted with a silver cone and bead for an amazing finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

I bought earrings and a cuff bracelet as a gift for my friend's birthday. She LOVED them both. They look beautiful on her! I will definitely buy more in the future.

    Ray Jack

Bought my second ring made by the artist Ray Jack. The first had mine 8 Turquose and I received many compliments on it. Of my over twenty Native American rings it is at the top. I Leary’s wanted an Inlay Navajo ring to add to my collection and having Ray Jack as the artist just made it better.
